From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.Job DescriptionCourier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocolsResponsible for quality control of all assignments and completing documentsFollowing and enforcing company health and safety policies.Must be able to follow technical instructions and guidance.May assist with data collection and routine sampling, as neededLong distance drivingCandidates in this role may be asked to drive as far as North New Jersey, Pittsburg, etc., and a maximum of 250-300 miles per day, round tripRoute could consist of anywhere from 1-5 stopsMay be asked to drive to other locations as needed based on business needsAdditional duties as assignedRole is full-time, M-F, 8am-5pm as the basic hours for the role. But hours may vary, due to routes and traffic, and could be extended as late as 6pm-8pm on occasion. Candidates who have some flexibility in regards to potentially shifting schedules and hours would be ideal for this position.QualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.A valid state issued driver's license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities.Must be able to operate a motor vehicleMust be able to use Smartphone.Must be willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours)Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipThe ideal candidate would possess:Ability to follow GPS directionsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAbility to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesAdditional InformationRequirements:Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorshipProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in EnglishPosition is full-time Monday – Friday day shift.
